Political Interference Undermines National Security, says ex-COAS Gen Tukur Yusufu Buratai

A former Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lt.-Gen. Tukur Buratai (rtd.), says the interference of the political class in military affairs can undermine the effectiveness of national security.

Buratai said this while delivering a lecture at the Second Stanza 2023 National Public Service and 65th University of Ibadan Alumni Association (UIAA) Anniversary Lecture on Friday in Ibadan.
