Nigerian Army Women’s Corps Task to Enhance Synergy Through Inter-Agency Collaboration

In an effort to deepen troops understanding and collaboration between security agencies in a joint military operations, the Nigerian Army Women’s Corps (NAWC) organised an inter-agency workshop aimed at building the requisite capacity of female officers and soldiers of the Corps towards overcoming the complex and dynamic nature of the current military operations.

The theme of the Workshop is, ‘‘Female Soldiers in Joint Operation: Enhancing Synergy between the Nigerian Army and Sister Services Through Inter-Agency Collaboration”.

The Commander NAWC Colonel DE Adamu while declaring the workshop open emphasised that, the fora will create an avenue for an elaborate discussion, cross fertilization of ideas, and most importantly, enhance synergy amongst participants.

Additionally, the workshop also generated new ideas that will facilitate support of military in an effort towards improving national security.

 

The Resource Persons who made presentations during the workshop were Colonel S Julius, the Acting Chief of Staff Nigerian Army Cyber Warfare and Lieutenant Colonel OA Anele, the Acting Executive Director Corporate Affairs Nigerian Army Welfare Holdings Limited by Guarantee.

 

 

 

The topics delivered by the senior officers were “The Nigerian Army’s Joint Operations Environment: Critical Roles of Social Media” and “Enhancing Professionally Responsive Nigerian Army in the Discharge of Its Constitutional Roles: The Gender Perspective”.

In attendance were senior officers from the NA, Services and other security agencies.
