Launch Peace in South East Project (PISE-P)

In a resolute effort to revive the rich cultural heritage, reinvigorate communities, and ignite the enterprising spirit of Southeast Nigeria, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu, a visionary leader and federal lawmaker representing Bende Federal Constituency in Abia State with his team has launched the transformative initiative called Peace in the South East Project  (PISE-P)

The Southeast region of Nigeria, renowned for its cultural diversity, historical significance, and entrepreneurial prowess, has faced challenges that have hindered the preservation of its unique heritage and impeded communal progress. Understanding the importance of restoration and reconciliation, Benjamin Kalu has embarked on an all-encompassing mission aimed at revitalizing the region and empowering its communities.

In his post on Twitter, he stated that The Peace in South East Project has a clear vision — to foster peace, unity, and development through a non-kinetic approach, restoring the region to its rich cultural heritage, vibrant communities, and enterprising people. This journey toward peace demands total dedication to inclusivity, justice, youth empowerment, education, healthcare, and a pervasive culture of peace.

He gives his heartfelt gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR) for his commitment to restoring peace in the South East Region. While appreciating the presence and support of Vice President Sen. Kashim Shettima, Governors of the Southeast States, Dr. Alex Otti, Sen. Hope Uzodimma, Gov. Peter Mbah, Prof. Charles Soludo, Gov. Francis Nwifuru, the President of the Ohanaeze Ndi Igbo Worldwide, Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, Pastor Jerry Eze, Lead Pastor, Streams of Joy International, Former Governors, and all distinguished leaders of our nation.
