Ekpa, who identifies as the self-declared Prime Minister of the Biafra Republic Government In-Exile, was detained by the Päijät-Häme district court on allegations of public incitement to commit a crime with terrorist intent.
The Central Criminal Police in Finland, in a statement released Thursday, confirmed the arrest of five individuals in connection with terror-related activities.
